Meet the Founder – Ayushi Singhal

I’m Ayushi Singhal -the founder and force behind ASTRA. I have studied Fashion Designing from Pearl Academy, New Delhi and have passionately chosen this as a career for myself. I never set out to just “start a fashion label.” I wanted to create something that means something. I wanted to create size and age inclusive western wear for every woman. Something that fits everyone of us, comforts us and becomes a style statement.
ASTRA began when I needed an outlet - to turn creativity into courage, and identity into expression. I poured my passion for art, storytelling, and strength into every design - hoping to build a world where women could feel powerful, feminine, and entirely themselves.
I believe in slow fashion - not just as a movement, but as a mindset. Thoughtful details. Hand-finished garments. Made by local Indian artisans. And clothes that hold energy, not just shape.
Every piece you’ll find here is personal, made with love and attention to every detail. Because ASTRA is a reflection of me - and made for a reflection of you. Thank you for being here. I hope you find something that feels like you.
